Gadis 17 tahun derma RM44 juta


Riyadh: Seorang gadis berusia 17 tahun mendermakan SR50 juta (RM44 juta) kepada kegiatan kebajikan di Arab Saudi.
Gadis yang tidak dinamakan itu memberitahu akhbar tempatan, jumlah itu suku daripada kekayaan yang diwarisi daripada bapanya.

Menurut laporan, gadis berkenaan pergi ke mahkamah di Riyadh dan mendermakan wang itu kepada kumpulan kebajikan yang terbabit dalam pembinaan masjid, membantu membebaskan tahanan yang terlibat dengan hutan, pembinaan sekolah, hospital dan aktiiviti lain.
“Saya digalakkan oleh ibu dan abang saya untuk menderma. Saya mengambil keputusan untuk berbuat demikian kerana takutkan Allah dan kerana sayangkan bapa saya,” katanya.

Two sisters kidnapped by maid found; Search for maid continues

KUALA LUMPUR Jan 6 - Police today found the two sisters who were reported kidnapped by their housemaid in Negeri Sembilan three days ago.
Zawin Najah Nazira Mohd Nadzri, 6, and her younger sister Einan Nabella, 4, were found in a room at Hotel Pudu, here by a hotel staff, Fazilah Jawi, 44, when she was about to clean the room.
Head of Serious Crime Kuala Lumpur, Supt Johari Yahya said the report on the disappearance of the two sisters which was published on the front page of a local daily today enabled members of the public to identify them and lodged a report with the police.
"The two siblings had been left in the hotel room after the housemaid who had kidnapped them checked out at about 9 am," he told reporters at the hotel.
Police are looking for the housemaid, Normaiza Jamari, 22, in several places including her kampung at Kampung Menjual, Wakaf Baru, Kelantan and investigating the motive for the kidnapping.
Normaiza had checked in at the hotel at 3 pm yesterday.
Zawin told Bernama that initially Normaiza invited her and her sister out on the pretext of buying dresses for them.

According to Zawin, when asked why they did not return home, Normaiza said she wanted to take them to Kuala Lumpur.
They then took the train to Kuala Lumpur and stayed at the hotel.
"This morning, when we were all awake, I saw her going to the bathroom and getting dressed up, then she left us without saying where she was going," she said.
"My sister and I sat in the room waiting for her to return, but she did not come back, and we were getting hungry," she said hugging her sister tightly.
Their parents, Mohd Nadzri Abdul Rahman, 33, a Syariah Lower Court judge in Port Dickson, and Ruselda Awang, 32, a teacher, who arrived at the hotel from Seremban at 1 pm today, immediately hugged the children with tears of joy flowing down their eyes.
"I have been waiting for this moment for three days. When I received a call from the police at about 11 am today, I immediately rushed here with my wife," said Nadzri.
Ruselda said her family had never had any problem with Normaiza all this while.
"I find that she had been good all this while, I did not expect this to happen," she said.
Normaiza had previously worked at a restaurant owned by Rusleda's family in Kelantan before being employed as a housemaid by the couple.
Meanwhile, in SEREMBAN, police are continuing the search for a housemaid, Normaiza Jamari, who kidnapped two daughters of her employers at Taman Panchor Jaya, here on Friday.
Seremban OCPD ACP Abdul Khalid Abu Hassan said the search was being carried out in several places including her hometown in Kampung Menjual, Wakaf Baru, Kelantan.
"Investigation is still going on although police today found the two sisters, Zawin Najah Nazira Mohd Nadzri, 6, and Einan Nabella, 4, who were reported kidnapped by the housemaid.
"We want to know the motive for abducting the two sisters. So far, she is yet to be found. The case is not over until Normaiza has been found," he told Bernama when contacted, here today.
Abdul Khalid appealed to those who knew where Normaiza was staying to contact the Seremban district police headquarters at telephone numbers 06-7635522 or 06-7614444 or the nearest police station.
He praised the cooperation of the public in contacting the police quickly to enable the two sisters to be found.
The report on the disappearance of the two siblings was published on the front page of a local daily today.
Meanwhile, the parents of the two sisters, Mohd Nadzri Abdul Rahman, 33, a Syariah Lower Court judge in Port Dickson, and Ruselda Awang, 32, a teacher, thanked the newspaper and police for the success in finding their daughters back.
Mohd Nadzri and Ruselda were met when taking their two daughters for a medical examination at the Hospital Seremban emergency department, here this afternoon.
The two sisters were allowed to go home after they were found to suffer no injury.

The couple, who were very happy following the reunion with their two daughters, said they would hold a thanksgiving kenduri tonight.

Children reunited with parents after ordeal

KUALA LUMPUR, Sun. - It was a happy ending amid tears for two little girls who were reunited with their parents, two days after they were taken away by their maid. 

Zawin Najah Nazira Mohd Nadzri, six, and Einan Nabella Nadzri, four, were left behind by the maid at a room in Hotel Puduraya today, and were found about 9am by hotel staff who recognised them from a Berita Minggu front page report. 
They were in good condition but did not have their gold chains and bracelets.

Parents worried about missing children and maid

Dua beradik dilari ditemui di bilik hotel

KUALA LUMPUR 6 Jan. - Dua beradik anak kepada Hakim Mahkamah Rendah Syariah Port Dickson, Mohd. Nadzri Abdul Rahman, 33, yang dilarikan oleh pembantu rumah mereka tiga hari lalu, ditemui ditinggalkan di sebuah bilik di Hotel Puduraya di sini pagi ini.
Zawin Najah Nazira Mohd. Nadzri, 6, dan adiknya Einan Nabella, 4, ditemui oleh seorang pekerja hotel berkenaan yang ditugaskan untuk mengemas bilik tersebut setelah penyewanya iaitu pembantu rumah terbabit, Normaiza Jamari, 33, telah mendaftar keluar pada pukul 8 pagi.
Ketika ditemui oleh pekerja hotel berkenaan pada kira-kira pukul 9 pagi kedua-dua beradik itu hanya tinggal berdua dan sedang menangis kerana kelaparan.
Pembantu rumah terbabit juga dipercayai mengambil barang-barang kemas kepunyaan kedua-dua kanak-kanak itu sebelum meninggalkan mereka.
Ketua Bahagian Jenayah Berat (D9) Kuala Lumpur, Supritendan Johari Yahaya berkata, selepas menemui kedua-dua kanak-kanak itu, pekerja hotel tersebut, Fazilah Jawi, 44, telah melaporkan perkara itu kepada majikannya.
Beliau berkata, pihak pentadbiran hotel kemudian menghubungi pihak polis untuk memaklumkan perkara itu dan memberitahu kedua-dua kanak-kanak tersebut kemungkinan dua beradik yang dilarikan oleh pembantu rumahnya.
``Kita telah menghantar pasukan kita untuk menyiasat laporan itu serta identiti dua kanak-kanak terbabit dan mendapati mereka adalah dua beradik yang dilaporkan hilang oleh ibu-bapa mereka,'' kata beliau ketika ditemui semasa sidang akhbar di hotel berkenaan hari ini.
Menurut Johari lagi, setelah mendapat pengesahan, pihaknya telah menghubungi polis Seremban untuk memaklumkan penemuan itu.
Kata beliau lagi, pihak polis di Seremban kemudian menghubungi ibu-bapa kanak-kanak terbabit untuk memberitahu yang anak mereka telah ditemui.
Ujar Johari, satu gerakan untuk memburu pembantu rumah terbabit di bawah Seksyen 361 Kanun Keseksaan telah dilancarkan.
Kata beliau lagi, polis juga akan cuba mencari pembantu rumah terbabit di beberapa tempat termasuk di rumah keluarganya di Kelantan.
Sementara itu, Zawin Najah Nazira yang sempat ditemu bual memberitahu, dia dan adiknya telah dibawa oleh Normaiza atau panggilan mesranya `Kak Za' menaiki kereta api (komuter) datang ke bilik (Hotel Puduraya Kuala Lumpur).
``Kak Za bawa naik kereta api dan sampai di bilik semalam.
``Malam tadi Kak Za marah saya dan adik.
``Kak Za juga ambil rantai dan gelang tangan saya dan adik,'' katanya.
Kata Zawin Najah Nazira lagi, dia dan adiknya ditinggalkan kelaparan pagi ini dan mereka diberi makan oleh kakitangan hotel yang dipanggil `kakak' sebelum pihak polis sampai.
Sebaik sahaja ditemui ibu bapanya, Zawin Najah Nazira dan adiknya terus mencium dan memeluk mereka sambil sibuk mengadu kejadian yang berlaku kepada ibu mereka.
